“Mental is in an Extended Beta version, much of the current content may be changed in future versions, such as improvements to existing maps, graphical and audio improvements, new maps, new stories, etc.

It is also planned to work on the multiplayer mode and make different game modes.”

About This Game



Mental is a Single and Multiplayer horror game, powered by Unreal Engine 5.

Sumerge yourself as an employee of a company dedicated to paranormal investigation called Mental. You will have your own office, with the possibility of creating your own living space within the Mental facilities.


The main idea of Mental is to offer you the best visual and auditory experience, so that you immerse yourself in an immersive experience that is as realistic as possible, while you immerse yourself in psychological adventures. Therefore, patches will be released often, with mods, improvements, new items, and new maps. This means that new stories and new exploration maps will be released often. With different game experiences, within Mental itself. Everything related and set to a psychological terror.



  • Mental, has its different stories and exploration maps, these are called contracts. At the headquarters, there is the planning room, where several monitors, including the main monitor and the museum access monitor, these monitors are used to access Mental information, your data and the available modes. These monitors maintain their own operating system and it will be updated over time.



  • The headquarters is the central location for access to training, available modes, and your information. Over time you will see changes to the headquarters, this happens because it stays up to date like everyone else the contracts.

  • Every time you complete a contract, you will level up. You can see your level at the headquarters, on another monitor. Levels are used to unlock more contracts and more items.



  • On each map there will be hidden rewards and collectibles, try to get them so you can store them at the Headquarters and also unlock Steam Achievements.

  • Mental also has a Multiplayer mode. Multiplayer mode will give you the option to explore maps or play mini-games, with your friends or on public servers.



Taking into account that it is a Beta version, any suggestion will be studied.

Mental: The Dark Night is currently in an early stage of development. From 2021 to 2023, it has progressed from the Alpha to Beta version. At this moment, the basic structure (skeleton) of Mental is already built. Currently, the development is focused on the story, interactions, techniques, maps, usable items, etc.

Updates and news related to the game's development will be communicated through social media.
