“The Early Access phase has three goals:
  • to improve the balancing of the game
  • to find and eliminate possible compatibility problems
  • additional features and game modes based on user feedback are also conceivable

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is expected to leave the Early Access phase as soon as the first two goals (balancing and stability) have reached a state that provides a satisfactory experience for the vast majority of players. The current target is a release in the course 2023, early 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final version will differ from the current version mainly by an improved balancing. Further content is also conceivable, but should not delay the release and could therefore be released later in the form of updates.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“
  • The game is in a good playable condition and has received positive feedback from the first testers.
  • Currently, the game includes 6 game modes, 6 characters / tanks each with their own special ability, an arena map and a procedural map generator.
  • There are no known gamebreaking bugs. However, there are problems in the game statistics in places.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There are currently no plans to increase the price of the game after the end of the Early Access phase. If new features or expansions result from the Early Access phase, which can only be implemented with high effort, a - moderate - price increase cannot be ruled out.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The user feedback should help improve the balancing of the game and eliminate minor inconsistencies. In addition, further game modes, characters and maps based on ideas from the community are also conceivable.

Prepare for thumb-fueled hilarity with Thumb Tanks, a splitscreen bash for two to four players! Dive into the mayhem where fun, chaos, and one-upping your buddies take center stage. Thanks to easy controls, everyone's invited—grab your gamepad, gather those coins, and let the thumb-battle festivities kick off!

Tanks

Select from eight unique tanks, each wielding its own special ability. Will you dominate with burst fire, shield against onslaughts, or employ the cloak of invisibility? Take your pick from an arsenal that includes nitro drives, electromagnetic pulses, air support, self-shooting turrets, and attacking support drones.

Coins and Power-Up Stores

In the heat of battle, collect coins scattered across the battlefield. Use these coins wisely at designated stores on the map to purchase powerful upgrades for your tank. Every player also receives a coupon upon (re-)spawn, providing an extra opportunity to enhance your arsenal strategically.

Medals and Scoring

While eliminating opponents is the primary goal, Thumb Tanks rewards valor. Collect medals across 20+ categories, from pinpoint accuracy to healing prowess. Showcasing courage earns you points, making Thumb Tanks a game that values bold strategies as much as ruthless eliminations.

Upgrade Draft
