About This Game

For years, mankind has wondered: What's it like to go spelunking in an underground beach as a snail with a gun riding a cloud? This is the question I'm creating SLINGSHELL to answer.

Playable Characters

You might think that nothing could be better than a snail and a cloud - and you're right - but there are actually a variety of characters to play as in this game.

Trummel (the snail) and Alto (the cloud) are the main duo. You can fly around when riding the cloud and perform quick dash attacks, then use the slingshot attack and your weapon to attack armored enemies! Just be careful that you don't slingshot yourself into a bottomless pit or a dangerous situation... you are just a snail, after all.

These two have a long history together; in a past life, they were a detective duo. Nowadays, Trummel and Alto spend their time exploring these crazy underground worlds.

Otto is a biker bee who powers through his opposition with raw strength and an awesome motorcycle. He can't fly when he's on his bike, but he does get to run over enemies and do awesome backflips. Otto can even throw his bike as a projectile, freeing him up to fly for a short while and use a shoulder bash!

Orcane from Rivals of Aether appears as a crossover character! Unusually for this game, he has no way to fly freely around the screen... but with his iconic Teleport and Bubble Dash moves, you'll find that with some practice you can get wherever you need to. His attacks also produce bubbles that float up and deal damage over a wide area!
