Friendly Facade

In this visual novel, Maggie Crane and 15 others are invited to partake in the Isolated Society Study, where they must forge a peaceful society while attempting to outsmart each other in complex challenges. Just as the study is about to conclude, the Golding Foundation introduces a sinister twist.

「We would like to have players experience as much of the game that has been completed as possible and provide their feedback to help improve the development of the game.」

「When all of the chapters are completed and the story reaches its conclusion, the game will be removed from early access. Right now, we plan to be ready to fully release the game in 2 to 2 and a half years.」

「We plan to release more chapters which should include more character moments, story, and minigames. We plan for the full version to include the entire story of Friendly Facade.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The first 6 chapters have been completed thus far. You can experience all the gameplay features included in the "About This Game" section. We expect about 13-21 hours of gameplay. The word count is ~165,000 and there are ~120 CGs.」

「Yes. The game may gradually raise in price as more content and features are added to it.」

關於此遊戲

Friendly Facade is a visual novel with point and click and strategy mini-games incorporated into key story moments to immerse the player in the experience. The game explores how each character's background and strongly held ideals inform their personality, decision-making, and strategy in tense situations. Every character has their own goals and motivations and form a web of interpersonal relationships that intersect and collide with each other to form a rich, nuanced story where not everyone is able to get a happy ending. Inside the peaceful confines of the Isolated Society Study, competition, manipulation, and betrayal run rampant, and this is before the Golding Foundation intervenes, changing the rules of the game, and the fates of those 16 individuals trapped within it, forever...

Can you solve the mystery of the Golding Foundation, and dispel the facades that all 16 characters in this story use to mask their deepest, darkest secrets?
