What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“NEW BUILD COMING SUMMER 2025!

The available Early Access build was released during Steam's Next Fest, over a year ago. We are approaching the release of our official demo, Wild Americas: The Lowlands, coming Summer 2025.

What to Expect:
Gameplay:
For our upcoming release, we introduce an entirely new locomotion and camera system, aligned with traditional third-person adventure/stealth/shooters. This means an improved game experience for exploration: traversing your way across dangerous terrain using GeoCorps's climbing picks, grappling hook, and your bare hands.

Fast Travel:
Discover the old GeoCorp Tunnel system from the 90s, and use it to quickly transport yourself to already discovered areas across the large map. You will have to discover or uncover these as you explore.

Fully Destructible Terrain:
We are just getting started with this feature, the demo is just a taste of what's to come! Use your drone or thrown explosive devices to blast away large chunks of landscape, revealing precious minerals and gems needed by GeoCorp. Discover hidden tunnel entrances and more. Just remember, any piece of land you walk over could hold a secret below.

GUI and Lore:
We aim to tell a story and completely reworked our GUI and menus in the upcoming Lowlands release to better accomplish this goal.

Bow and Arrow:
The feeling of connecting a bow shot from 40 yards out into the neck of a no-good VSI merc feels good in the game. Weapon ammo is limited, making the bow your go-to for stealthily eliminating threats undetected. You will be required to recover the arrows, so ninja accordingly.

Enemies:
Aside from a few animals in the available build, we had no enemies. Now, you will encounter intelligent, well-armed mercenaries working for your competition, VSI Mining Group, as you move towards riskier objectives. Sneak stealthily past their patrols, use a bow and arrow to eliminate the threats, or blast them out of the way with your trusty .45 pistol. That's if you can find ammo, of course.

What not to expect:
Extensive inventory/upgrade system, zombies, glowing orbs to collect, in-game purchases:)”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“2 months. We release our new build, Wild Americas: The Lowlands, this Summer 2025.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access includes shooting, hunting, demolition, scanning, and discovery across miles of landscape. As the developer, you can support us with a purchase of the current build, which grants access to the Summer 2025 release seen in our recent video drop.

We recommend wishlisting and waiting for the upcoming build to be released in summer 2025.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. We will maintain the $5 price, with a discount showing upon release of our Wild Americas: The Lowlands build (Summer 2025')”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Playtest and feedback from the community will be used. Players of Wild Americas early access can provide feedback to the Wild Americas The Game Community Steam page.

You can also contact us through our website, ”
