Docile Fright is a 1 Player 2D RPG that focuses on humanity's long-winded quest to conceal flaws and exaggerate righteousness. It is set in a world ruled by complacency and the belief that humans are very logical and courageous.

Exploration

The "overworld" is used to interact with NPCs, treasure, visible encounters, random encounters, enter cities, enter dungeons,

-Visuals are based on pixel art and digital paint.
-Over 12 cities to explore.
-Over 12 dungeons to conquer.
-Visible encounters make up the majority of transitions to combat. Random encounters are present in a few dungeons.
-Portraits available for prominent characters. Enlarged sprites for less prominent characters.
-Music mostly comprised of ambient and drum and bass.

Combat

-Can move freely within the battleworld.
-up to 3 out of 5 party members are usable in battle at a time.
-1 party member is controllable and the other party members will act based on their selected tactic.
-Up to 4 skills per party member are usable in battle at a time.
-Over 100 animals to fight with unique skills, stats, and behaviors.
