Miksi Early Access?

We are looking for early access feedback to improve the final game experience.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Until we have a satisfactory game to our standards for fans to enjoy. This can take possibly roughly two years of constant development time to complete.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Full version will have a complete storyline, multiple locations, more monsters to collect, and more bosses to fight.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game state is very early pre-alpha development stage. We have a very simple quest system in place along with a simple store to buy and sell items. Many sprite assets are already being worked on with about half the monsters already in sprite form. Around 70 or so monsters are already designed out of the 100 or so we have planned for the initial launch of the game.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Pricing will increase on release by about double early access cost.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We will take constant feedback and improve the game based on user input through our twitter posts and discord.

The First Steps Towards the Unknown

The story of Rune Monsters takes place in the coastal village of Suncrest. It is here that Alex, a young man/woman that has found themselves thrust into a situation that results in their temporary exile, begins their journey. Although eager to finally venture outside of their village for the first time in their life, they soon find themselves embroiled with a conflict that the fate of the world hinges on the conclusion of. Along the way, you’ll meet a variety of characters and monsters, both serving as valuable allies and dangerous opponents.
