Six elements. Six ways to fight. Pick two and combine them into something that's yours.

Fire stacks Ignite and Melt to burn opponents down before they stabilize. Ice locks the board with Freeze, turning defense into offense. Earth grows through Nourish and an army of minions that won't stop coming. Light loads your hand with buffs, card draw, and momentum that snowballs. Mystic chains plays together with Attune — every card fuels the next. Shadow trades your own life for power, and pays off big if you survive the bet.

Every element has 40 cards, 8 companion minions, and its own identity. Mix two together and find combinations we didn't plan for.

SURVIVE THE GAUNTLET

The Gauntlet is Backdraft's solo roguelike mode. Pick a hero, start with a basic deck and three lives, and fight through escalating rounds of increasingly dangerous opponents.

Between battles, spend gold in the shop. Open packs to expand your deck. Hit the Anvil to upgrade your best cards. Draft artifacts. Recruit companions. Try the Wishing Well if you're feeling reckless.

The opponents get tougher, their decks get deeper, and your three lives get thinner. How far can you go?

Arena — Draft your deck card by card, then put your choices to the test. Every pick matters. Every cut hurts.

Skirmish — Quick match, random deck. No prep. Just prove you can win with whatever you're handed.
