About This Game

Island-to-Island Treasure Hunt

You've got a metal detector in your hand and your pet at your side. You step onto the island, sweep the ground, and dig wherever the signal leads. Most of the time it's a nail. Now and then it's a ring its owner gave up on, one nobody even remembers losing.

Most of what you dig up is worthless. The money comes from people whose lost things you bring back, and the big scores sit inside chests. Finding a chest is luck. Opening one takes time.

Islands

Once you've swept most of an island and all you have left is a few nails and a rusty screw, you move on to the next one. Every island has people to talk to and fresh ground to dig.

Pet and Friends

Your pet tags along. Friends can join too, with 1-4 players sweeping the same island together.

Night and the Gambler

When the sun goes down, a shady gambler pulls up to the island in his boat. You can go try your luck, but be careful. He might be a good friend too.

On Your Desktop

Island Detector is a desktop companion. Even when you close the game and get back to work, your detector keeps running, sweeping the island and collecting treasure for you. Whatever it found is waiting for you when you get back.
