Why Early Access?

“The goal of Spire is to provide a gameplay experience that includes an engaging story, an immersive environment and fun, fluid combat. Launching in Early Access will allow you the player to provide direct feedback for the game. This feedback will be used to keep the game aligned with its goals and help to deliver a fun and memorable experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Spire is expected to launch in Early Access in 2023. The Early Access version of the game will guide the player deep into the story. Upon completing the game, the player will be at the halfway point in the story arc. The current version of the game has been in development since February 2022. Our plan is that the full version of the game will take roughly a year to a year and a half once the Early Access version is released.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add the second half of the story, new levels, new enemies and new bosses to the full version of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. One of the benefits of Early Access is that players can get their hands on Spire for a lower price when purchasing this initial version of the game.”
