Slumberer's Universe is the story of a grieving middle schooler struggling to cope with loss.

Months have passed since Alph's best friend Walter died in a car accident. Alph's been trying to overcome his death, but there's always something that reminds him of the horror and sadness of it. One day, one specific remaining of Walter set a series of life-changing moments in motion. Everything started to change—mostly for the worse. As Alph struggles to understand the universe's new form, he faces unsettling questions: What is Walter’s connection to the universe? And why is Alph the only one who seems to notice the growing darkness?
