Miksi Early Access?

We want Celestarium to be a game imagined by it's developers and shaped by it's community. The core features of the game will include stargazing and basic astronomy gameplay, early game progression, ship-building and flight, plus space agency management features.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Until we feel the game has been polished and matured enough to have an intuitive core gameplay. We'll leave Early Access and disclose an expanded roadmap with the release of Celestarium 1.0

We can't provide a precise date for the release, but we can definitely say it'll remain Early Access until Q1 2023.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Celestarium 1.0 will first overhaul the astronomy gameplay with boosted variety of gear, more ground telescopes and introduction of space telescopes.
It will also include more and better quests, improved mechanics, breathe life into the space station and allow the rebuilding/upgrading and even moving of it.
Also the full version will bring QoL features and improved graphics.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Celestarium Pre-1.0 (Early Access) will include:
Early Game; basic astronomy gameplay. Observe space from your high tech space station using an old telescope of yours. Sell the data you gather from discovering various celestial objects.
Early to Mid Game; start your own space agency, conduct astronomy missions, build rockets and fly them to the planets you've discovered.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

It depends on any additional features the development will bring and how the sales will go. But we do plan to raise the price for Celestarium 1.0

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We'll mainly gather feedback on our Discord server and our website. There will be dev testing builds available to community members who voluntarily choose to be a tester. We may also form a "Community Council" where we will recruit trusted community members who listen to other members and help us decide which direction is the best to take for the game.
