What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose early access because it is the best way to incorporate player feedback in a meaningful way without wasting time developing something they don't want.

We have our own vision of Project Glasloc but without the involvement you, the players, it could never reach its true potential.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Currently the latest planned release is around mid 2024 though it is entirely possible this will change based on feedback and unforeseeable circumstances getting in the way.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Progression between runs as well as a fully integrated story and many customization routes will be the most immediately noticeable changes. All of that with the standard addition of "more of everything", new gamemode(s), procedural level generation, some new systems and hopefully a VR version of the game (accessible with this copy of the game, no separate release).”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of initial early access release, there is one main threat and one accessible level biome featuring two different but static maps. There is currently no way to "progress" anything between runs and very little integrated environmental story-telling.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, there are plans to gradually increase the price with every major content update. There are two major content updates planned.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be able to communicate feedback via the Steam forums. Beyond just that, there are plans for community polls and surveys that would influence what we would next work on so we can best update alongside the community's needs and desires. Ultimately we hope to integrate a way for players to provide some feedback in-game in a way that's fun and not very time consuming.”
