Welcome to The Search For Paradisus - Refined Edition!

After almost three years since the original launch, we are proud to present the Refined Edition. This isn't just an update, but an almost complete recreation of the game, aligned with the ambitious vision we had at the beginning of development.

"Why release this version now?"

The Search For Paradisus was our first commercial project and a journey of immense learning. At the time of its release, our vision for the project was already clear, but we didn't yet have the experience or the resources to fully execute it. The game served its purpose of teaching us about the process of developing and publishing a game.

However, we never abandoned the original idea. Because of the fondness we have for this project, we decided to return to it with years of acquired experience to transform it into the game that is closest to what it should have been from the start.

"Alright, but what has really changed?"

Almost everything. The Refined Edition is the experience closest to what was originally envisioned for the game, enhanced in every aspect. If you played the old version, the difference will be striking.

• Expanded Content: A completely new area has been added to expand the end of the game, accompanied by two new endings, totaling three different outcomes for your journey.

• Total Graphic Overhaul: All environments have been artistically reworked and enhanced, with new and old cutscenes remade from scratch for greater narrative impact.

• Refined Gameplay: The programming and controls have been redone from the ground up. The character is now faster, more agile, and responsive, providing a much more fluid platforming experience.

• New Challenges: Gameplay has been improved with new mechanics, enemies, and challenges that will test your skills.

• Modern Interface: The UI, main menu, and pause menu have been completely replaced with a new, intuitive design.

• Deepened Story: The narrative has been revised and updated to be even more cohesive and immersive within the Dark Fantasy universe.

Overall, it's almost a new game. We hope you enjoy The Search For Paradisus in its most polished and complete form.

The Search For Paradisus is an adventure that blends 3D platforming exploration with a deep Dark Fantasy narrative.

You awaken as a mere spark of your being, imprisoned in Purgatorium, a grim labyrinth that exists outside of time and space. Why were you sent there? For what reason? The answers are a blur, lost in your memory.

Your only company emerges from the flames of a tree that burns without being consumed—a vision reminiscent of the biblical "Burning Bush," or perhaps just a form of deception. This enigmatic being, who calls himself Mr. Nobody, offers help with an air of disdain and sarcasm. He points the way to Paradisus, your only hope for freedom, and offers to be your guide. His intentions, however, are a mystery as great as your own imprisonment.

With the slightly questionable help of Mr. Nobody, your journey begins.
