“The Visual Novel is playable through Part 2. Although I have a rough outline of the intended story, I am always looking for feedback to make this visual novel better. :) So before I get too far in (like what would be version 0.66), I welcome suggestions for changes, additions, bugs, an angle I did not think of, etc. :)”

Content

The current version (v 0.46) includes Prologue, Part 1 (of 3), and work on Part 2.

The full version will include 3 parts that be days. They will be seperated into chapters to spend time with the story before rushing off to more in the Fae, Vampire, Mage, Shifter, and Demon storylines.

Additional Content:
I am planning some mini-games to fit with the theme of the story. Currently in the planning stages and might be included during Day 1 and Night 1 if applicable.”

Almost all characters can be renamed and that module has been tested to ensure it works as intended. A content filtering system (for both NSFW and Content Warning items) have been set up, and all scenes have an alternate path to avoid these sensitive items if you block them.”

This game graphically depicts sex and includes mature themes such as drug use, nudity, premarital sex, smoking, alcohol, violence, drug use, sexual violence, BDSM, and toxic behavior. As these can be problematic, there are content filters that can be set to play an alternate scene past these.

Sexual Assault and Abuse are done with context toward malevolent character, and care will continue to be taken to not glorify it.
Additionally, LGBTQIA+ concepts appear throughout the game.

All characters depicted at 18+.

A new year starts at the Oakland Institute, where everything seems normal for college students.


Except for a Fiery Redhead shaking things up for a young man.



Or a young magic user getting used to living in this world after being secluded in a pocket dimension.



Or a group of shapeshifters either trying to dominate or survive.


There seems to be always a vampire ready to make a power play for domination that make it seem like the demons are the sane ones. All these forces in one town are a powder keg ready to explode.

Fire of Life: New Day is part one of a series of planned Adult Visual Novels that follows five different storylines (fae, vampire. mage, shifter, and demon) that interconnect at different points. There is not a single main character, but you can customize it by being able to rename characters to your liking. It uses Renpy to facilitate the story, so the normal features (Replay, Galleries, and Save Options) are included. In addition to those features, there are content filters (NSFW and Content Warning) that lead to alternate scenes for individuals. :)
