«The game is fully playable and all levels are blocked out. Our tasks are primarily to create graphics, add Waifu interactions and refine a few game mechanics. We decide for Early Access to spread the word and to make it easier for players to receive updates and support. The Steam discussion board will also be a helpful addition to learn about player feedback and wishes.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«We guess that Early Access may last for about 2 years. We can work only part time on the game. The next six months will likely be spent with overhauling features and preparing for the big content productions. The following year will be needed to create the story and finalise the levels including graphics and difficulty. The last six months will be spent polishing and preparing for the big release.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«For the full version we have to create proper graphics for all levels and implement a lot of interactions with the Waifus to enjoy a nice story. Besides that we want to overhaul game mechanics for crafting, researching, looting, throwing and being grabbed by tentacles. All of them are in place but need some extra care to have them really engaging. As nice to haves we want to add nice support for speedruns, randomization and mod support. But we have to see how well we can implement these during Early Access or if they will be added as patches later on.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The current state is that all 30 levels are blocked out. Level 1 to 5 showcase the level art but after that there are no proper graphics. All items are created to allow a lot of crafting. A proper story and important difficulty features are missing. Even though the game is playable from the beginning to the end.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«The price of the game may increase significantly when the game is completed and meets our expected quality level.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«We keep our community up to date on our discord server:
But we will also check the Steam discussion board and read early reviews to see where the game is lacking. Even with all the design work on the game already done on paper we still need the feedback from people outside the inner development circle. We hope that we can involve the community to learn how to keep the game alive even when all updates are done and we have moved on to new projects.»
