Why Early Access?

“The game is quite large for such a small team, and we want to keep developing parts of the game that is the most fun to the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“For about a year is the plan, or when we feel the game is a good enough state.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version we plan to have more objects to craft, more abilities the enemies can throw at you, an overhauled combat, modular buildings and at least one more area.

Something we are designing the open world around, are traversal features such as a mount system, and fast travel.

Additionally there are some features planned for the power core(main object you protect in the game) such as autolooting, mana shield for your village and tech tree upgrades.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It's playable with a closed gameloop with a clear win and lose condition. Upgradeable gear to craft, working building system and farming.

Some features that are planned are still missing. Mainly the previously mentioned ones. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We dont plan to change the price, but will actively work on adding content and updating the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to talk to players through any of our community channels such as Steams community hub, discord x or facebook.

We actively make polls and talk to people with insight of the game, and plan to expand this to the player base once we get the early access out. ”

About This Game

You are in charge of the defense of a village, now you have to build a bastion to withstand the coming invasion. Survive wave after wave of attackers and keep improving your defenses.

Explore the world of Lorne for hidden artifacts that unlocks new powers and technologies. Improve your bastion and keep your Powercore safe, no matter the cost.

  • BUILD YOUR HOME

In Lorne, every structure starts with exploration. Gather materials, and bring them back to craft and build your own home.

  • CRAFT POWERFUL ARTIFACTS

In Lorne, you must do whatever it takes to become strong enough to defend your home. Craft items using resources harvested from the world, upgrade your abilities with soul fragments, and explore the land to uncover ancient trinkets that grant untold power. Or, seek out powerful bosses in their lairs, defeat them, and claim legendary loot.

  • BUILD A BASTION OF JUSTICE

Claim land and create a base, tailored for the perfect defense. Upgrade, and design your own own fortifications. withstand wave after wave crashing over your ramparts.

  • SURVIVE THE INVASION

Once you start the game, the clock is ticking. The invasion is coming, and each wave is a little stronger than the last. Plantlings, Evil Mages, Stumplings, Elementals, hordes of Undead, and World Bosses the enemy forces are after one thing the total destruction of your Powercore, and with it, Lorne.

  • DO YOUR DUTY AS A RANGER

Do what you need to do in order to protect Lorne. As a ranger you investigate conflicts, uncover mysteries or find ways to take down dangerous mythical creatures. You guard the borders and roam the lands, all to keep the peace of Lorne.
