Why Early Access?

For ANARCHY, I'm aiming to replicate this method and consistenly involve players in decision making proccesses. Being directed both at TRACHI veterans and newcomers, I appreciate every interpretation as a valuable impression.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The prologue is due to be released in August 2024, followed by another act each year. Spanning four acts in total, ANARCHY 1.0 is planned to be released in 2027.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version aims to be a complete Tactical RPG. Roughly put, field, combat and conversation segments alongside persistent character-based progression are regarded as key components to drive a compelling narrative.

In addition, class and weapon systems aim to offer customisability and optional challenge modes / difficulty levels are to provide mid- to long-term replayability.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In it's current version, ANARCHY consists of two primary elements.
ExcommunicAtion is both a presentation of ANARCHY's battle system, and also a multi-stage fight with it's own introduction, credits and epilogue. The goal is to use this 8-10 min episode as a condensed blueprint from which to extrapolate and tune the eventual rpg elements in accordance with the combat and the characters.

Secondly, there is a very early prototype of ANARCHY's prologue: ParAdise. This is conceptually much closer to the brunt of what will be ANARCHY, showcasing field, combat and conversation as interwoven pieces of an overarching gameplay loop. There is not too much content there, but the overwhelming majority of infrastructural systems are already in place.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“While the actual release might see a price tag, ANARCHY will stay free during early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Being a Tactical RPG, a special focus will be on utilising both explicit feedback and player statistics to polish the existing infrastructure into an experience that is challenging, scalable and fun.

Furthermore, there are plans to implement in-game votings system on design decisions, especially in regards to localisation and accessability.”
