STORY

The Bakerville Case is inspired by the true events of the secret 1950s "MK Ultra" program, to build a haunting and mysterious story that can be complemented as the player explores the playable environments.

You are Thomas Baker, a journalist who, after being contacted by an anonymous source, travels to a town to investigate a series of horrifying unknown events.

In a town located in North America called Bakerville, terror and evil wait to be found. According to the anonymous source, an unknown group is performing horrifying experiments on the people of the town, and the center point of all of it seems to be a nearby psychiatric hospital.

Thomas arrives in Bakerville to discover the terrifying mystery at the heart of the town, but he was never going to imagine what he would find in that place.

GAMEPLAY

The Bakerville Case combines elements of survival horror, psychological horror, exploration, and mystery, while incorporating roguelike-inspired mechanics such as challenging dungeon-like zones, resource management, high-stakes encounters where survival depends on strategic decision-making, and limited saving, where progress is only preserved at the end of each chapter, increasing tension and emphasizing careful resource management.
