Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to keep Azarine Heart in early access until 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Things to expect from the full release:
- I am currently working hard to overhaul all the tiles and pixel graphics for the world, so there will be some placeholder graphics mixed in with the current tiles. It might look jarring at first, but it's a process.
- I want to smooth out the edges for combat, which feels a bit clunky now.
- Major bugfixes on questlines; this is my first real project, and earlier parts of the game have some obvious flaws, like missing quest updates, non-functioning doors, and bad dialogue.
- Adding more content; new dungeons, new cities, and new NPCs in those areas.
- Adding and finishing follower missions; each unique follower will have their own questline that can be completed after some time.
- Horses! Quick transportation around the open-world.
- Adding multiple endings to the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, six of the seven factions are complete, in addition to the main quest and many side quests. There are over 500 maps in the game to explore, with more being added every day. Dozens of weapons, spells, and armor to experiment with, as well as a dozen settlements where you can rest, learn about the world, and gear yourself for the next trip.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price is unlikely to change leaving Early Access!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Not only am I open for personal communication through email, but comments on my Youtube channel are appreciated. I also have a Discord server solely for Azarine Heart, that is open to the public.
You, the community, are important to me and the game. I need you and your suggestions or comments to make the game great for all of us.”
