Why Early Access?

“I am a solo developer working on this project passionately, that being said Grave-Queen is currently in early access and is a work in progress. I still have to sketch multiple cutscenes, iron out any bugs that may arise, as well as work on polishing aspects of the game. Once this is out of early access, I plan on adding expansions which will deliver more characters, weapons, story content, as well as new system mechanics.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Since at this moment in time I won't be working full time on the game, but I plan on finishing the game by the end of next year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version of Grave-Queen I plan on adding more polished animations, slight changes to balancing, and drawn cutscenes in dialogue sections. If there are any bugs I plan to fix them on release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment the early access version contains the first act of content. In this act, there is the main story, side missions also known as hunts, as well as 6 playable characters and 12 weapons. There's also a feature called Subsystems, which allow the player to create different builds and another called the Codex, which provides the player with lore and the back stories on certain characters.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price will remain the same on release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“For the community: if you find any bugs, grammar errors, or have some potentially fun ideas be sure to contact me. I will also be posting all updates on my twitter and loosely checking the steam forums.”
