Cave Crawlers is a 1-10 player rogue lite set deep underground in a system of randomly generated caves. Players use weapons, spells, and talents to defeat the unique bosses and enemies found in each biome.

為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Player feedback is enormous to a game's success. Early decisions become more challenging to change further into development. Internal playtests show us many improvements and changes we must make based on the feedback of our players. With early access, players will be able to provide feedback in our community to help improve Cave Crawlers.」

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久？

「We are hoping to exit Early Access sometime in 2025.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「We have quite a few big features planned for Early Access mainly in the realm of a new biome: The Molten Collapse. This biome will feature many new enemies, items, special event rooms, puzzles, and a magma boss with unique mechanics as well as loot.

Another large feature planned is the implementation of mining: players will be able to use their dwarven pickaxe to mine ores/crystals/gems in each biome. The use of ores in the game is still being decided, we're working with the community on new features like this to figure out exactly the best way to implement it into the game.
Polishing must be done on many small aspects such as UI, animations, effects, audio, etc!」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「This is an Alpha build of the game. Right now we have multiple major features, and a whole biome to finish before we move into Beta.

There is quite a lot of content currently in the game (two biomes with their bosses, over 100 different weapons, a variety of enemies, and 6 different weapon talent trees for players to go through). We still have a lot of work to do before the game is completed, yet the current build we are releasing is fun! We hope to get lots of feedback from players to help us improve and guide us in building a game we all love playing!」

「No, we plan to keep the game free forever. We will have paid DLC levels after Early Access, but the base game will always be free.」

「The "suggestions" forum in our discord, where players are welcome to provide input on Cave Crawlers! Our "Development-Updates" channel provides our community with regular updates on current features in development.
Currently, we push content updates with public playtests roughly once a month in our discord. Players are welcome to join, speak to us, and play the experimental branch with us!

關於此遊戲

In Cave Crawlers you and your friends play as Dwarves searching for glory, power, and loot in the form of armor, weapons, potions, and items hidden underground from the world above. Your player has a fun, complex talent and stat system that you will use to fight powerful bosses and enemies. You'll find all kinds of mysteries along your journey, exploring different biomes, mobs, and items along the way.

As a dwarf searching for treasure and glory, you'll find that your journey can be quite tough without some allies at your side. Each player uses their own personalized talents, spells, and items to help defeat treacherous bosses.

CO-OP UP TO 10 PLAYERS

Crawl through the caves alone or with a group of friends! Cave Crawlers supports up to 10 players in one game. You must rely on the great strength and wit of your teammates to defeat the threats deep in the caves. Be careful though, the power of the caves grows as more dwarfs adventure together.

BIOMES

As you explore, players will find complete environment changes, new enemies, and new items in each biome. In these biomes, you may stumble upon trapped rooms that contain magnificent rewards.

BOSSES

Biomes will include their own themed boss. Each boss has its own challenging mechanics that must be overcome to gain access to the next biome. Bosses drop their own unique loot.

DEATH

At the beginning of your journey, you create a new character and begin that character's journey. Each character has its own set of items and expertise talents. When a character dies, they are permanently dead.

LIGHT

The caves are extremely dark, players must make use of their limited light. Torches burn out over time, yet players may use their flint and steel in the darkest of situations.

TALENTS, SPELLS, PERKS

Choose your character's path with over 100+ weapon-specific talents at your disposal. Will you ravage enemies with an axe? Swing extremely fast with a dagger? Heal allies with a torch? Become a tank and block attacks? Try each path and forge your own builds.

ITEMS

Many unique and powerful items can be found throughout your journey. Each weapon has its own unique talent effect tied to it, helping you defeat increasingly difficult enemies.
