'To this day, we have released multiple smaller updates in addition to many major updates. We estimate a few additional months of development with more major updates throughout Early Access as outlined in our Roadmap.

This may change if we improve and add more to the game based on the feedback and input we receive from the community.'

'The current state of Survivor Mercs is what we call ""the foundation"" of the game.

What does ""the foundation"" mean?
The game has nearly all of the core systems in place, and what we consider the minimum amount of content it needs to provide hours of gameplay already. From there, we aim to grow and develop the game into the full version - step by step.

Our roadmap shows how we are planning our major updates during Early Access. We are currently planning to improve and add:

more Mercs and Gear with interesting emergent & systemic synergies,
more Commander Traits to generate tens-of-thousands of individual Commanders
more Maps with unique Bosses and different Operation types,
different rooms for your Bunker HQ that you can build with materials you loot during your Operations to get permanent bonuses and unlock helpful features
Story Missions to unlock new Mercs, Rooms, Gear, Maps, Operations, and Commander Traits
lootable Merc & Commander weapons in different rarity grades
more variety of Objectives, weapons, and enemies

We are also dedicated to bringing the game to Linux and Mac, translating it into more languages, improving accessibility, and supporting streamers with integrations. The first available version of the Twitch integration allows you already to interact with your audience and let them decide about upgrades in the game.'

'The game is currently stable and fully playable as detailed above.

You will be able to play randomly generated Commanders, configure your own with your researched Traits, equip and use various weapons, and commence different Operation Types on various maps where you can recruit a variety of Mercs to fight for you. In between Operations, you can upgrade your Bunker HQ with the loot you collected during operations.

Who's better to lead them than a disposable clone with an unpredictable set of special traits? Welcome to your new assignment, Commander.

Take the battle to the enemy and build your underfunded, over-ambitious outfit into an apocalyptic war machine that rids the world of evil billionaire overlords.

With all chances stacked against you, this isn’t about glory. This is about the loot!

Clone your every Commander with randomly selected traits. Can you lead your squad to victory with a hawk-eyed, sly Infiltrator? Or battle solo as a nocturnal, greedy One-Man Army? How about a brilliant, vampiric Ninja?

Each combination of traits yields a unique run with its own set of challenges, mechanics, and surprising synergies.

Equip your favorite weapon and unleash havoc! But first, you need a squad:

Assemble your mercenary team from a roster of vigorous fighters. Each Merc totes their own arsenal and personal tactics to tackle the robot horde.

Call in your Merc clone reinforcements, pick their optimal specialization tree for your operation, and supercharge their combat effectiveness with hi-tech Gear to build a game-breaking, horde-slaying killer squad.

Conduct your operations against M.E.G.A. Corp. and its subsidiaries through multiple stages on a variety of procedurally generated maps.

Capture objectives to call in reinforcements, fulfill missions, and sack valuable loot.

Strike hard and fast! The clock is ticking - each minute on the battlefield means more, stronger enemies.

Get to the extraction point and defend it until your choppa takes you to the next stage!

Fight and survive long enough to face the unique, massive bosses and their underlings.

But beware: it's all or nothing! Die, and lose your loot. Survive, and take home your spoils of war to come back even stronger!

Invest your loot to hire new Mercs, purchase new Gear, expand your bunker HQ with permenent upgrades, or research new traits & weapons for your Commander clones.

Guide your Mercs with tactical abilities or focus on fighting actively in the battle – each Commander clone and loadout offers its own individual tactical choice and style.

Experiment to find your optimal squad build for any challenge M.E.G.A. Corp. throws at you. No two runs are the same!
