"SpaceSlog is a complex and ambitious project being developed by one person, it has already been in development for several years and now requires the support and feedback from the community. We do not want to develop the game in a vacuum but would rather mould the game into something our fans really want to play and feel early access is the best way to achieve this."

"It's hard to specify a time but we plan to be in early access until roughly February 2026. We have a long list of features and ideas for the game, all of which take time to develop if we want to ensure a quality product.

We strongly suggest however to only purchase the game based on what is in the game now and not what is planned for the future to avoid disappointment."

"The full version will have many more simulated systems and a much richer gameplay experience. The course of development does however change depending on feedback from our community. Below are a few things we plan to add to the game but are not guaranteed.

• Random encounters with planets, space monsters and other alien life forms.
  
• Send away parties to planets and derelict ships to scavenge for supplies.
  
• Watch relationships grow and fall between different crew members.
  
• Many types of creatures you can tame and train.
  
• Heat and atmosphere sim elements.
  
• Research new technologies and use them to help your crew survive and thrive.
  
• Tactical combat systems between ships and on foot, including breaches and landing parties.
  
• Intricate wound and illness system.
  
• Hydroponics and farming.
  
• A galaxy map allowing you to plan and trace your journey.
  
• Different alien races to discover.

"The game is currently fully playable and we do our best to ensure there are as few bugs as possible. The game does however only represent a small fraction of what we plan to achieve, which means in its current state it may be lacking in gameplay features and content."
