Miksi Early Access?

Talon's Blade is an ambitious game being made by a small group of passionate game developers. We want to make the best version of this game we can possibly make, and we believe that involving players at this stage of development will help us to craft a truly special game. Player feedback will go directly into making Talon’s Blade a better, more enjoyable, fulfilling, and immersive experience.

Talon’s Blade will be in early access for at least 6 months.

- We plan to add and polish additional levels and story content
- We plan to balance and polish many of the game systems
- We plan to add additional items, weapons, armor, and lore
- We plan to add steam achievements
- We plan on adding a new game plus mode

Currently the first 3 levels are playable.
- Direction based combat and magic system are implemented
- All armor and weapons sets for the first 3 levels are implemented
- The potion crafting and alchemy ingredient collection systems are functional
- All quests for the first 3 levels are implemented and playable
- All cutscenes and dialog for the first 3 levels are implemented

The price will increase by roughly 50% on full release and may increase incrementally as more content is added to the game.

We will communicate with our players through our discord server. We will collect our players’ feedback on every aspect of the game. They will be kept in the loop as to the progress of development, future plans, and content updates. We will also be engaging with and responding to feedback posted on our Steam community page. Please be aware that as we add content to the game, there is the possibility that saves may break.

Talon's Blade Features

The directional melee combat system of Talon’s Blade allows you to decide from which direction death reaches your foes. With four possible directions of attack and defense, the combat is both strategic as well as reactionary. Feel the ebb and flow of the fight as you explore the strengths and weaknesses of your foe looking to deal the killing strike.

Successful completion of melee combos will allow you to unleash devastating magical attacks upon your enemies. How this power manifests depends on the combo you choose to perform and the spells you unlock. The more foes you conquer, the more you will be able to upgrade your arsenal of combo-finishing spells.

Take control of Marcus Veridious as he embarks on a soul-rending quest for revenge. Make deals with demons, cast powerful spells, brew and utilize potent elixirs, choose who to help and who to abandon, take on ancient ghosts from forgotten worlds, and fight your way to the heart of the corruption that plagues these war-torn lands.

For 20 years war has been waged across the land. For 20 years the soldiers of the Southern Empire and the Rasnayan Legion have clashed. In a bid to bring the war to a decisive close, the Emperor has sent his elite force of agents, known only as the Talons, on a covert operation with the hopes of turning the tides of war.

But all is not what it seems within the Empire. Treason has led to the capture and near extinction of the Talons.
