“美术不可谓不是《亡者之地》的亮点——基于俯视角下的高清像素点阵作图从打开游戏之初便一直在刺激着笔者的视觉感官；而在角色与敌怪移动攻击时，游戏的动画演出也相当流畅，让玩家在即使仅从感官而言也能得到十足的正反馈。本作的玩法也是其特色之一——在《亡者之地》内，玩家一般并不需要太多额外的操作，只要用好上下左右四个方向键便基本能够完成游戏每局的流程。”
