Miksi Early Access?

Gum Ball Run is a multiplayer racing experience. There is still a lot to balance and test when it comes to providing the best experience. By having players during the Early Access phase I can make adjustments according to player feedback. There is also a lot more content to add. These include single player levels, racing tracks, new cosmetics and effects. Community building is very important and I hope to hear your feedback in the Gum Ball Run discord channel! By doing this I will work on the game every day so I can provide updates with new content every week. For the final release I want a fully functional racing and progression experience.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

When the game balancing is done, all the features are polished and all the content is added. In total this will take approximately a year depending on the amount of features the community wants.

For the final release we plan to have:
- 12 level themes, each with their own environment, music and obstacles
- 300(+) cosmetics to collect
- Polished online multiplayer gameplay and level balancing
- Active community of players
- Completed single player obstacle tracks
- Leaderboards and stats page
- Refined matchmaking and custom matchmaking

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Gum Ball Run is playable and working properly. Gameplay balancing and the addition of content is still being worked on. These will be added in weekly updates.
Current state of the game:
- Race online in ranked or unranked player modes
- Customize your character with recolors, skins and effects
- While you wait for players you can play in the lobby
- Tutorial for new players
- Sound effects and music is added
- Graphics are done
- Players can adjust settings
- Single player levels: 20
- Level themes: 4
- Procedural chunks per theme: 50
- Cosmetics: 131
