It’s been several months since Nina defended the Rostro Racers in court, and Fledge City residents eagerly anticipate the next season of the home-grown streaming show hit: the magical girl sensation, Valkyrie: Sacred Feathers!

But when an on-set lover’s tiff takes a dark turn, Nina Aquila is tasked with defending Millia Nordin, the lead actress, in a murder case that defies explanation, even by the defendant herself.

North of the city, dissent grows as the Bikers of the Wastes are vanishing without a trace. Seeking answers, a lone rider saddles up for the long journey south, seeking the one man who she knows can help her.

With Millia in custody, tension on the streets of Fledge City rises as each night brings with it unnatural, unexplainable events; disappearances, explosions, tales of monsters sighted in dark alleyways.
