為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「We would like to make our game available on Early Access as being a small development studio of two and our fans input is very important to us. Having previously only developed mobile titles creating a fully fledged Steam game is a very big achievement for us and our fans that have made this jump possible!」

「We hope to have the title remain in Early Access release for around 12 months but it may exceed this. We have worked very hard to have something substantial available for the Early Access build. We hope that this proves Posh Toffee games dedication to fully realising the final vision for the game.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「For the full version of "The American War" we are planning to offer allot more content than our Early Access build.

In the full release we are planning to have a fleshed out museum with unlockable content that will allow the players to learn more about the Vietnam conflict as they play. Substantial work is also going into making sure the gameplay as fluid as possible so many more combat features will also be added.

In the final release, we are planning to have more missions (10 instead of the current 7) including comic book style intro and outro cutscenes and an engaging narrative.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The Early Access version of "The American War" contains seven missions and a prologue scene with comic book style cutscenes. A museum scene is also available that allows the player to learn more about the Vietnam conflict as they unlock content while playing the main game.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「The game will be sold at a reduced price during its Early Access phase as our fans and community's input is invaluable to us and we understand that as a customer you would not like to pay full price for an unfinished product.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「The Posh Toffee Games team will have a member that will be managing our community engagement and who will creating as many channels as possible for us to hear your feedback! Developers like myself will also be available and exited to hear from you all.

We are planning to have a thriving Discord server as well as all of the social media pages you would expect. These will be managed by our team and the feedback will be actioned upon and taken sincerely.」
