Why Early Access?

“Oil Manager is a project that aims to continue an old classic and it may take some time to work on it until it is released. We as developers are interested in making sure that players from the community can enjoy the game as early as possible and that we can get feedback on it. This is to greatly improve the quality of the project as it is being built in collaboration with the players, and will also help in finding and fixing bugs in the early builds.”

“We plan to stay in Early Access for about 2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Oil-Manager will have much more content. New areas, new random events. More furniture for customizing the offices. More offices to purchase.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment we are at about 60% of the planned content. The current version of Early Access is fully playable. More random events are currently being planned.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I think the price will not change much. It depends on the quality of the game and player satisfaction in the EA version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As previously mentioned, we welcome all feedback, be it comments, ideas, feature requests, or bug reports. In order to achieve this, we will use a maximum of possible communication channels with our players, from Steam discussion forums and Discord servers.”
