Why Early Access?

“A single tiny onion has been working on this game since 2015. It's been a long journey but it's time to get the game in player's hands and work toward a full release. However, I am treating Early Access as a well and true public alpha, not a basically complete game with rough edges. Feedback is much appreciated!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As of right now I am the only person working on Little Hellions, so development continues as my life and funding permits. Follow for updates in this area!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“
  • Local versus mode containing 4 worlds with around 6 arenas each.
  • Practice and training modes.
  • 6 playable characters.
  • More items, traps, and arena gimmicks.
  • Fleshed out accessibility options. Full controller remapping.
  • Collect VHS tapes & learn about the Underworld.

⚠ Online multiplayer infrastructure is outside of my expertise, as are bots. I am pursuing avenues to make these additions possible.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“
  • Local versus mode with 3.5 worlds, 15 arenas, 9 trap types and 6 items.
  • 4 player characters. Characters are not fully animated.
  • A laundry list of known bugs & visual errors. Unoptimized.
  • Full soundtrack. Simplified SFX.
  • Simple controller remapping.
  • Compatible with Remote Play Together, Parsec, and so on.
