It is the year 2049. After a series of devastating pandemics in the 2020s, millions have died with each new wave of viruses. While institutions rushed to implement emergency countermeasures, entire economies collapsed, and governments were overthrown and then replaced by pharma mega-corporations.
Arising from the ashes emerges a singular corporation empowered to manage the strains of viruses and control the citizens effectively.

The Lazarus system was designed to address the law and monitor each citizen's health to ensure individuals' safety within quarantined cities worldwide. Its algorithms will select vaccine-worthy citizens and maintain the new status quo.
