“I'd like to first, establish a base game with core mechanics, following in the footsteps of other successful games like Subnautica and The Forest, who have established strong set of base survival mechanics, before delving into populating the world with the narrative.

Since this game involves survival components, getting feedback from players early will help quickly balance the game and add new mechanics deemed relevant based on the player experience.”

Berapa lama permainan ini dijangka akan berada dalam Akses Awal?

“Child of Aether is a solo project and is loosely planned to exit out of Early Access in Summer 2026

This game will exit our of Early Access only when it is populated with enough base crafting, combat and survival mechanics. Once it reaches a point where it is considered to have a strong foundation of survival gameplay that can stand on it's own, it may be contented to leave Early Access. However, the survival horror component is only the foundation, upon which the Narrative is to be experienced around. Thus It might even remain in Early access as long as the story is not fully implemented into the game.”

“Yes. Once out of Early Access the price of the game will increase as new content is added.”

“A portion of this game's focus is survival, crafting and farming, thus the early access community will have a chance to offer feedback about their experience and optionally contribute suggestions and ideas in regards to balancing, new mechanics and gameplay features that help even out and improve the survival aspect of this game.

An odd looking forest full odd places, filled with dark corners and many strange faces.
A blank slate awakens on one fateful morning, unsure of your purpose, you take on a journey.
A world full of tales, mystery, doubt. It'll take a detective to figure it out.
A soil of sadness, an intertwined net, the deeper you dig, the grimmer it'll get.

The lay of this land is unfriendly and dark, be sure to prepare for quests you embark.
Doubt not, you'll encounter vast strangers and fiends. Old creatures, unnerved, undead and unseen.
Prevail and survive or turn into dust., make smart use of acquired resources you must.
The day and night roll and with them change tides. By day you must scavenge, by night you must hide.

And still you're a subject of human afflictions, to dig up the story within this dark fiction,
Explore and discover, and harvest and sow, craft tools and brew substance to aid in your goal.
Crawl though deep, glum crevice, reach heights of unseen, engage in a conflict of humans within.
The further you reach the more will story unveil, the more you will find there's much more to this tale.
