Why Early Access?

“Flock of the Low God is currently in early access as part of our commitment to thoroughly evaluate the game's features and horror elements, ensuring they are sufficiently terrifying and captivating.

Our initial launch, which focused on co-op and multiplayer gameplay, did not quite hit the mark. We focused on the wrong things. In response, we've created a single player narrative game that really focuses on story and the horror atmosphere from Malum.

This approach allows us to grow the game and improve it regularly over the coming weeks and months.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Flock of the Low God to be in early access through the summer of 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Overall, with Flock, our aim is to broaden both the game and its narrative. This expansion will allow players to discover the origins of the cult and delve deeper into its mythology. We plan to explore significant events, such as the fateful raid on the Flock's compound, which precedes the current storyline.

Furthermore, we're eager to enrich the narrative of Flock of the Low God by introducing even scarier monsters and creatures. These new additions will be closely tied to the primordial demons mentioned in the game.

Additionally, we're looking to extend the gameplay by several hours, positioning it alongside other popular VR games in terms of content and duration.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build of Flock includes the following:

• Multiple Chapters of a "Vertical Slice" of the overall full game.
  
• Some animations are not finished but will be refined overtime
  
• The development team intends to keep working on Sound FX and Atmosphere
  
• We are still working on the hint system though V1 is operational
  
• Voiceover will be expanded as we refine and improve the game

We will continue to push hot fixes and other improvements regularly during EA.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game's price will increase upon full commercial release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“All the feedback of the players posted on the community page or in forums will be considered at the moment of adding new content or improving some features of the game.”
