Fight in the skies of Europe during the Second World War.

Take part in intense dogfights, control any crewmember in your aircraft, including bombardier and defensive gunners. Intercept large formations of bombers, assault airfields, ground targets and strategic objectives. Attack ship convoys in risky torpedo runs.

The game supports a vast array of controls. Whether you play Mouse & Keyboard, a gamepad or own a HOTAS, as well as trackIR, you will be able to get the perfect balance of accessibility and immersion. It features a powerful rebinding system that support axes, a curve editor, toggle and hold mode for buttons.

Realistic flight and damage model, yet accessible.

Sky On Fire follows the accessible sim approach. Sim elements that are relevant to gameplay are kept, but the ones that are just extra workload or require extensive reading are discarded.

A varied and historical roster.

Sky On Fire : 1940 features 18 unique airplanes from the western European 1940 theater, including the Spitfire Mk.I, Hurricane Mk.I, Bf 109 E-4, He 111 H, Dewoitine D.520. It also has some less represented aircraft such as the Boulton Paul Defiant and Morane-Saulnier 406.

The 1944 extension is also included, with late war aircraft such as the Bf 109 G-14, Fw 190 A-8, Spitfire Mk.IX as well as American legends, namely the P-47D, P-51D and P-38L.
