Royal Idiots is a medieval style third person battle arena. Fight others using weapons you have in your arsenal, or your bare fists. The game has 6 weapons to choose from all with unique abilities which can give you the edge in a fight, or are just fun to mess around with.

„Our project is not yet finished, there are still features we would like to work on such as character and loadout customization, more weapons, more gamemodes, and better polish to the overall game. The game is in a playable state however, and everyone who has tested it so far has enjoyed the experience.”

„Depending on feedback, we would say about a year or two, however if development goes well then no more than a year”

„Some ideas we would like to implement are a character selection and loadout selection, we would also like to make multiple game modes other than just a PvP arena inlucding Capture the Flag, Besiege and Capture, 1 on 1 duals and more. Ideally the finished project will be more polished than it is right now as well.”

„Multiple weapons all with special abilities, character colors, peer to peer multiplayer connection, and the ability to smack eachother around.”

„The game's price will be increased as we implement new major features. The price will reflect the quality and quantity of the content available.”

„We have a discord server that anybody can join to give feedback. We will also be reading as many of the community posts as possible to see what the community wants.”

Royal Idiots is a medieval style third person battle arena. Fight others using weapons you have in your arsenal, or your bare fists. The game has 6 weapons to choose from all with unique abilities which can give you the edge in a fight, or are just fun to mess around with. The characters colors can be changed in game to add personality to each player. Strike eachother down, or get struck down.

Current Weapons Implemented :

Fists - Special : Punching Barrage
Sword - Special : Upwards Strike
Spear - Special : Spear Toss
Axe - Special : Spinning Blade
Crossbow - Special : Shoot Bolt
Steel Ball - Special : Golden Rotation
Bo Staff - Special : Vault
Hammer - Special : Crush

Character Colors :
Yellow
Purple
Orange
Green
Red
Pink

Current Gamemodes :
Multiplayer Battle Arena
Singleplayer Zombies Mode

More weapons, maps and gamemode are planned in the future, this is just an early access release.

Weapon Ideas :
Flail - Physics based weapon that can knock around your opponents
Grappling Spike - A rope with a spike attached that can be used to bring enemies closer to you
Shield - Not really a weapon, but an item that can be used to block incoming attacks

Different maps will be implemented for different game modes, a few of those game mode ideas we have are :
Capture the Flag
Destroy enemy castles
a Siege and Capture game mode
