“I would like to gather feedback from the community on how to significantly improve the game so that it can reach its full potential. I am a solo developer unfortunately and therefore I can only see things from a limited perspective. Video game design and development is my passion, and it would be super awesome to get ideas and input from the community on features that could potentially be implemented in the future which could bring my game fully to life! I have so many ideas on my own, but I bet some of you talented people out there have even better ones.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“Until I feel the game is ready and fully polished! I intend to work on it at least 4-5 years after the initial early access release. I am in it for the long haul. I do not want to repeat my past mistake of releasing my games too early before they reach their true potential.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“I plan on releasing a snippet of one of the chapters for the initial release of the Early Access Version. More chapters will unlock as development progresses until the official release. I am doing this to get people familiar with the story and gameplay and hopefully build a fanbase to help out with future additions and features, which I plan on adding during development.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“The Early Access version has most of the gameplay mechanics completed. A lot of the AI is in its early stages and needs to be polished and programmed a lot more intelligently. There is still a lot of work to be done but it is in a very playable state. I am excited to see how far this game can develop over time!”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“The Early Access version will be priced a lot less than the final version (because a lot less content will be available during the initial Early Access release). I plan to gradually raise the price as new content is added to the Early Access version.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“I plan on starting a blog on my development progress over the course of the many years I will be working on this game. I will be sure to attach a link in the future! For now, you all can comment on the videos on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCS-dP6NW8bfxZ2pA6awbhpQ) or in the Community Hub on Steam. I hope people will actively critique my progress and also chime in on things they would like to see! Sophonce is partly inspired by three favorite games/franchises of mine, F.E.A.R., Halo, and Half-Life, and I hope a lot of the fans from these franchises will come across this game and inherently feel what I am trying to achieve with Sophonce!”
