Ragtag Heroes is a systems-driven, co-operative roguelike deckbuilder that strongly benefits from player feedback and real-world play patterns.
Early Access allows us to collaborate closely with the community while we expand the game’s content, balance its card systems, and refine co-op mechanics based on how players actually play together.

- We want Early Access players to help shape:
- Card balance and synergies
- Party composition and co-op dynamics
- Difficulty scaling and progression pacing
- Quality-of-life features and usability improvements

Early Access also lets us deliver new heroes, enemies, and content incrementally while keeping the game playable and enjoyable at every stage.

We expect Ragtag Heroes to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months.

This timeframe allows us to:
- Add additional heroes and enemies
- Expand card pools and build diversity
- Improve co-op stability and UX
- Refine progression, balance, and difficulty curves
- Incorporate community feedback into meaningful design changes

The exact duration may adjust based on development progress and player feedback.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version of Ragtag Heroes is fully playable and stable, with the complete core gameplay loop in place.

It currently includes:
- A full roguelike run structure with clear win and loss conditions
- Online co-op for up to 3 players
- Multiple playable heroes with distinct playstyles and mechanics
- A broad selection of cards, relics, and build synergies
- Procedurally generated runs with meaningful variation
- Enemies, elites, and boss encounters
- Persistent meta-progression between runs
- It's currently missing the final act and the true ending

The game is actively developed and receives regular updates. While the core experience is complete and enjoyable, additional content, balance tuning, polish, and quality-of-life improvements are still in progress.

Yes.
We plan to increase the price gradually as new content and features are added during Early Access.

Early Access players will receive the game at a lower price as a thank-you for supporting development early.
The final 1.0 release price will be higher to reflect the expanded scope and content of the full version.

Community feedback is a core part of Ragtag Heroes’ development and plays an active role throughout Early Access.

We involve players through:

- Regular updates based on besides others player suggestions, reported issues, and playtest results
- Balance adjustments and difficulty tuning informed by community play patterns and feedback
- Open discussion with players around upcoming features, changes, and development priorities

We plan to have player feedback influence core aspects of the game, including:
- Combat balance and difficulty
- Progression pacing and rewards
- Quality-of-life improvements and UI/UX adjustments
- Prioritization and refinement of new features and content

During Early Access, development priorities may change based on community feedback. Players are encouraged to actively shape the game by sharing their experiences, reporting issues, and participating in discussions about future updates.
