What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I'm a new indie developer. I want feedback from gamers who play the game and I want to develop the game alongside its community. Early Access lets the game grow more organically into something we all enjoy.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The plan is to stay in Early Access for roughly six months, giving a good amount of time to iterate on feedback, add new content and iterate again. This may last longer or go quicker depending on feedback from the community. It should be noted that the plan is to continue development of the game well after completing our time in Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Without going into specifics, the most obvious difference would be the amount of content. The plan is to have quite a few new game modes and maps with new unique elements to them. Also, largely, the game is currently my own design with feedback from a small number of testers; as Early Access progresses, the game should grow with feedback and ideas from a much larger community of gamers.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At Early Access launch, there are at least five game modes; each mode has at least four maps with varying complexity. This is enough content to play for hours at a time and is designed to have lots of replay ability, as many couch-buddy games are. The focus has been on getting the underlying code setup and optimized so I can spend less time in Early Access rebuilding the code and more time adding features, modes and maps with the community.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to keep the price the same. I don't want anyone to feel like they missed their chance for a good price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The plan is to start out primarily using the Steam forums and community Discord. With people being in different time zones and on different work/school schedules, the Steam forums make it easy to discus suggestions and ideas with everyone contributing at their leisure. It's easy to get involved and the whole discussion is available to read and reference at any time. With Discord, you can discuss ideas and features in real time with anyone who is online, including me.”
