Miksi Early Access?

Our goal through Early Access is to involve the community in the development of Summa Expeditionis. This will be a huge help in launching the best possible game.

Our plan is for Early Access to last 12 months. This could change by lasting a few months less or a few months longer.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The first version of Early Access will include a campaign in the north of Hispania. During the Early Access period we will improve this first campaign and develop two additional campaigns taking into account the feedback from the community. Based on the feedback received, we will also be adding some new mechanics that will not be present in the first version and will arrive over the course of approximately 12 months of development in Early Access.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current version includes all the core game mechanics (gathering, hunting, building, crafting, management and combat) and a complete campaign (northern Hispania).

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The price of Summa Expeditionis will not change during Early Access, but will be priced higher at launch.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

The main channels of communication with our community will be the Steam forums and our Discord server. Beta testing of new versions will be reserved for those who actively participate in the community by providing feedback.

Will you survive in the wild northern Hispania of the 1st century BC? Step into the sandals of a Roman legionnaire in Summa Expeditionis: a survival, base building and strategy game. You have been sent to the last corner of the Empire and your mission is to go into uncharted territory, establish a fortified camp and grow enough to subdue these unruly barbarians.

  • Explore - Uncover the secrets of a new terra incognita, the final frontier of the Empire.
  • Survive - Find food, collect resources, hunt local wildlife and settle in a harsh environment.
  • Fabricate - Use all the resources at your disposal to make tools, weapons and all kinds of supplies.
  • Build - From a simple bonfire, turn your camp into a true Roman vanguard fortification, capable of supplying a legion and defending against barbarian attacks.
  • Manage - Organize work shifts between soldiers and slaves, schedule guards and keep an eye on the morale of the troops.
  • Combat - Hunt and neutralize the barbarian Cantabri tribes. Enslave the exploitable, execute the rest, and rule these lands in the name of Rome.
  • Ascend - Your achievements will not go unnoticed. Earn the trust of your superiors and climb the Roman military hierarchy.
