Why Early Access?

“Enzio-Ware's Steam release is planned to be an overhaul to the game's original game jam release. The game as it is currently is a nearly fully-realized version of that original game jam release and its content, but is still missing important features we have planned for the full release.
As we decided to give ourselves more time for the game's epilogue, we think it is in our best interest to release this version of the game to the public now. This will also allow us to more easily collect feedback on the current version of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be updated as features are completed, and will be considered out of early access when the epilogue is released. Our original goal of December 2025 is no longer feasible, but we will do our best to get it as much out before then. As of October 2025 only 3 more episodes need to be brought over to the new cutscene system.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The plan for the full game is to increase the number of microgames for each episode, overhaul the cutscene system, and add in the game's epilogue.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Enzio-Ware contains the game's main story, with most character containing between 7-10 microgames and a boss, alongside overhauled PLC-dia and freeplay systems.
New features such as system customization, leaderboards, and the account system are already fully functional. Additionally features that were not originally planned such as custom skin creation, and a "gacha" (not paid) for obtaining treasures and cosmetics are fully implemented.

Due to reasons, we have had to cut down on live-service features such as the daily cosmetic shop, password system, and cosmetic additions in general. These will hopefully return sometime after we have completed early access. The cosmetic shop still exists in the game, but is now randomly generated instead of pre-written. Whereas password distributions have not occurred for a couple of months.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will likely see a slight increase in price upon leaving early-access, but a final decision has not been made.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players are encouraged to submit feedback via either our official website or to our bluesky account. We will be keeping feedback in mind when developing new features and refining the existing ones.”
