Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The Blight will stay in Early Access for as long as it takes for us and our players to be satisfied with the outcome of the product. We believe, that the development path from Early Access to Full Release should not take longer than a year. As for future planning, the full release will act as a strong stable foundation for our future content updates, since there is yet a lot to come.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release will have multiple strong aspects that are currently under heavy development. But most noticeably, most of the priorities are focused on:

• Procedural World Generation

• 4-Player CooP mode & Dedicated Player Hostable Servers

• Addition of Steam Workshop, allowing us to share the experience to develop custom playermade content into the game.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of The Blight offers outstanding single survival experience, with a hardcore survival mechanics. Please refer to the Features for the list of current features.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The pricing for The Blight is not a subject to change in anyway during or after the development of Early Access state. We will continue providing cost-free updates and additions of Downloadable Content into to the game, once the full release comes out.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As a one of the most important elements during the development for us, is to form the best possible synergy for our community. The Community will be able to participate in the development process, and allow us to gather some player feedback to shape the game into the best possible survival experience. We are planning to host multiple polls and events to allow our players to directly communicate freely with our developers. We will form an open air of development with our community, and there will NOT be bad ideas or suggestions!”
