“Approximately 6-8 months. However, this may change at any time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to have a more deep tech tree for you to research, as well as more megaprojects, especially those related to space exploration. Besides that, it is planned to bring more variety to power generation and transit systems. The full version is planned to have a sandbox aka "creative" mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Eternal Rome is currently in alpha stage development. Basic power generation and transit systems are implemented, the main branch of the tech tree, and a "Roman Space Program" megaproject. We are looking forward to continuing the development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may gradually increase as we include more content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will collect user feedback through the discussions page on Steam. We carefully look through comments to get new ideas for the game. We also plan to create a Discord server for those who want to talk with developers directly.”

About This Game

Eternal Rome is a city-building simulation game that allows you to become a mayor of a Roman city in modern times. Get ready to research new technologies and unlock modern infrastructure. Power your city with state-of-the-art developments ranging from wind farms to nuclear power plants. Create an advanced transit system — let the Romans navigate the city with the monorail and passenger drones. And finally, complete the megaproject — build a spaceship and send the first Roman into space!

Extensive Electrification

The Romans learned to produce electricity. Get it using a variety of methods — install windmills on hills, solar panels in open spaces, and finally, research uranium enrichment and build a nuclear power plant. Run the power grid and keep it safe — without electricity, the entire city will quickly cease to function. Make Rome a city of lights!


Advanced Transit System

The Romans used to walk or ride horses. It's time for new technologies — develop a public transport network in your city. Lay tram routes on the boulevards, convert the aqueduct into a monorail, and create a network of delivery drones with Roman pizza!


Roman Space Program

Rome has always wanted to expand its borders. It's time to look into space. Study a separate branch of technology related to space exploration. Build all the necessary facilities to manufacture every part of the spaceship, choose a team of future astronauts, and send them on an expedition to the moon.
