Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“1 year - 3 years, are possible. It could be less or more, but this is what we currently expect. We have some planned features, and things that we'd like to complete before we consider Max Twist a fully completed game and this will be our main focus until these features are completed to our satisfaction.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We currently have 18 full levels and one secret level.

In the game's current condition, you play as a Twist Boarder in a distant sci-fi future, where you attempt to speed through each track with the best time and seamless twist maneuvers to achieve the highest overall score and unlock new levels and content.

The controls are simple and easy to learn, and the Tutorial Level and "Learn More" section of the Track Selection Menu are there to help teach you the ropes. There is currently a basic control scheme that controls most of the action, but with an added layer of using aspects of the controls and mechanics together during gameplay to add depth to the meta and allow players to grow their skills and pull off better and better maneuvers for higher and higher scores.

There has already shown to be a substantial skill curve between the devs who have played it most and dove deepest into the mechanics.

All menu functions should work and the game is constantly improving, but we value and eagerly await any feedback from player testing. And that's where you come in! We'd love to have your feedback and input on Max Twist, its mechanics, content, and updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase prices as we increase the quality of the game and other play modes to the game as this will add a whole new level of fun and complexity to it.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a Discord, Twitter, company website, and a Steam Group. We plan to have a community forum on our website as well for Q and A, and tech support, though the Max Twist Community Hub will be your main station for all feedback, questions, and inquiries. Links are at the bottom of this section.
