ProjectFever

"Fever" is a code name for my personal project to create a Co-op / PvP multiplayer zombie survival looter shooter.

I update the project daily, and each time I commit new code you can see it in the discord log, this is to ensure that the development remains open and transparent development process.

My goal is to showcase the project from beginning to end, in a good faith process whereby the players always have access to the latest version of the game, and to build a community of like minded players who are fans of the Zombie survival genre.

The game will not be available for some time, but if you want to help test and give your feedback, check out and ask for a Steam key.

Mountains of loot

These warehouses might not look like much, but each box and trash bag is a procedural inventory, and each building chunk, shelf, and loose loot item is a dynamic and destroyable/replaceable element (to support in-depth base building):







Without optimizations, these warehouses become a 16 fps slide show. Lots of work is being done on the foundation to allow for this sort of high object count dynamic multiplayer gameplay.


Each bullet, cup and keyboard is either lootable, or destroyable, and there are tens of thousands of them.




All running at a smooth 100+fps framerate.

I'm currently in the early stages of development. Each time I commit code, discord is notified so the whole community can see what is being worked on.

Current game features/content:

• Players can create and join multiplayer games via the steam platform.
  
• Players can walk, run, jump, crouch ("CTRL"), sprint, and vault ("V") around the environment.
  
• Players can destroy environmental props by looking at them and pressing "Q".
  
• Players can examine varying objects around the game world for their relevant interaction information.
  
• Players can access and move items around a rudimentary inventory system by pressing "I".

The depicts gun violence, blood, gore, horror elements, and will not be suitable for young children or early teens.

There are references to drugs, medical and otherwise.
