What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re excited to be continuing the journey we began 10 years ago; to create a unique genre-bending gameplay experience, and we need your help! Through conversation and feedback with the community, we can shape the game for all players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim to remain in Early Access for approximately one year. Depending on the type of feedback we receive and the content we want to develop, this may become longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want to have more parts for vehicular movement and destruction, as well as handing the systems we use to build maps and game modes to the players. With this, we will be offering a new level of user-generated content, alongside more planets, atmospheres and improved tools for sharing creations.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Players can experience online combat using vehicles they built themselves or acquired from other players through our “community factory”, as well as on-foot combat. Customisation of vehicles and characters is possible, with cosmetic items being awarded through our Season Pass.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The base game and all of its features will be entirely free to play. Cosmetic items will be periodically released at a cost throughout the early access period and beyond, but these will not give players an advantage when competing against others online.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We already have a lively Discord community with which we’re talking every day, answering questions and hearing feedback. Beyond conversation, seeing what people build and how they play will be a tremendous help for us to know whether we’re doing the right thing.”

About This Game

100 years after the events of Robocraft, two corporations are returning to Mars to fight for the powerful resource called protonium. What will their war set into motion?

Ultimate Online Destruction

Experience online PVP gameplay with block-by-block destruction. Take your loadout of battle-ready machines to Mars and use a variety of futuristic weaponry to dominate across different maps in quick play, ranked play and special events. Is your machine choice not working for you? Hold the ground, take to the air, or switch mid-combat to adjust to an ever-changing battlefield.

Even when your machine is down, continue the fight on foot equipped with the trusty QMG Assault Rifle. Powerful turrets and vehicles can be found throughout the maps: survive the machine-covered terrain long enough and use them to seek revenge!

Using high-fidelity server-side physics means we can simulate every block on your vehicle; if you ram someone then destruction is shared between you and your enemy with extraordinary realism. Beyond destruction is the simulation of machines themselves: top-heavy constructions will fall over and heavy flying objects won’t take off, but a well-engineered machine will reduce opposition to scrap.

Endless options

The Community Robot Factory features an almost endless number of machines to browse and download, created by our incredible community. Customise your choices, take them into battle and earn robits from playing to get more. With our current parts a skilled engineer can conquer the ground and sky and since new parts are released frequently, the possibilities to build and download will never stop evolving.

Prefer to upload some instruments of destruction yourself? Earn notoriety and in-game currency from every machine uploaded and prove your building skills. Our construction systems allow for a multitude of shapes at any scale, giving engineers more control than ever before. Paint materials on individual blocks to define weight distribution, strength, and style and then use the RGB colour picker to paint it and make your machine look phenomenal.

A number of features are currently in development including a friends & party system, hover blades and tank tracks. Wishlist the game on Steam and on socials to stay up to date with development news.
