Why Early Access?

“Tower of Spirit is my very first game and as a solo dev, it's a very big challenge! With his strong rogue-like and rpg aspects, there a lot of elements to balance and review as more content and mechanics get added to the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I planned to finish the 1.0 version of the game during Q2 2023, but depending on player feedbacks and requests, Early Access might last longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Through Early Access, I plan to release content updates on regular basis. I want to add more playable characters, new gameplay mechanics and new areas to explore filled with new equipements, enemies and boss to experiment with. Smaller updates including balances changes are planned to release weekly.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core game experience is implemented. It offers 4 playable characters, 26 emblems to collect and more than 20 types of encounters right now which already gives players a lot of combination to create uniques builds and synergies.

The first area of the game is available with it's own unique boss. 2 others area are currently planned.

The current content offers approximatly 1 hour of gameplay.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will go up as big chunck of content gets added. In that matter, any changes will be clearly communicated before they are made.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community's feedback is key especially in this kind of game. Tower of Spirit will greatly benefit from player experience through the Discord server and Steam forums. My goal as a solo dev is to involve the community in every aspects of development to build the best Rogue-RPG experience possible!”
