“We have decided to release the game in early access in order to involve our players in the development process and receive feedback on the gameplay mechanics, visuals, and overall experience of the game. If the community can get access to the game in it's early days, they can give a lot of useful feedback about the game that would only make it better while players are enjoying it. The Backrooms is a complex and intriguing world, and we want to make sure that we create a game that captures the essence of this surreal and haunting space. Early access allows us to receive support and feedback from the community, which will help us fine-tune the game and ensure that we create a truly immersive and engaging experience for players.”

Per quanto tempo questo gioco rimarrà in accesso anticipato?

“Max one or two years depending on how smooth the development goes and how much feedback the game gets”

“There are lot of plans for the finished game, like

Multiplayer support
Graphics improvement
Better Procedural Generation than the current one
Involving many other levels and type of backrooms too
Involving other creepypastas on different levels based on the feedbacks
Making the backrooms more confusing and more liminal than it's current state
Improving AI and animations
Lot of achievements

And much more cool updates. We are open for the community's suggestions too.”

Qual è lo stato attuale della versione in accesso anticipato?

“It is a singleplayer horror game based on the popular creepypasta, the Backrooms. Currently it contains the Lobby(Level 0), the Habitable Zone (Level 1), the Pipe Dreams (Level 2) and "Level !". Level 0 is the origin of the backrooms. The core features and basic ideas are already included which means nothing good if you are hoping to survive in those rooms ;)
The current playtime is around 1-2 hours depending on the player. But of course this will be much longer by time.”

“The price will always represent what's already in the game. As the game grows, the price will rise to correspond to the experience given to the player. So the price will change either over the course of Early Access, or at full launch.”

“Our community will be heavily involved and their opinions and feedbacks will be taken seriously. Their experience is the most important. Steam Discussions and the Discord Server will be made and checked constantly to make sure the game doesn't miss out the players suggestions.

Informazioni sul gioco

Un gioco horror d'atmosfera ispirato alla popolare creepypasta di Internet, The Backrooms.

In teoria, se riusciamo in qualche modo a infrangere le leggi della fisica e a passare attraverso un oggetto, possiamo uscire dai limiti della realtà normale. Nella maggior parte dei casi questo può avvenire per caso, ma quando succede, si finisce lì. The Backrooms sono uno spazio non lineare apparentemente infinito.
Tutte le stanze del livello 0 sembrano uniformi e condividono caratteristiche superficiali come la carta da parati ingiallita, la moquette umida, le prese elettriche e l'illuminazione fluorescente posizionata in modo incoerente. Tuttavia, non esistono due stanze identiche all'interno del livello.
Lo spazio lineare nel Livello 0 è drasticamente alterato; è possibile camminare in linea retta e tornare al punto di partenza, per ritrovarsi in una serie di stanze completamente diverse da quelle attraversate in precedenza.

Questa è stata a lungo una leggenda, ma ora gli scienziati hanno scoperto un nuovo modo di entrarvi. Hanno fatto molti esperimenti e ora possono dire che entrarvi è totalmente sicuro e facile. Abbiamo scienziati che fanno esperimenti e ora cercano persone civili da inviare.
