„In order to keep up with internet lore, technology, refinement and delivering the best possible product I can I am utilizing Early Access in order to filter, process and implement player feedback about the game.

The game is complete as far as the story goes but there are many more levels I plan to implement and advance. As of now there are a few levels accessible from The Hub that are devoid of entities and objectives but I plan to work on those and expand them while integrating them into the main storyline as well.

At all levels of development I will be a constant presence on the forums, checking the ratings and reviews and a dedicated Discord to see what the general consensus is about gameplay, art, mechanics and bugs.

I will be constantly developing more content and implementing needed changes in order to refine the game to suit the needs and wants of the players. Three of the levels that are only accessible from the hub and not part of the main storyline are unfinished and as of now have no real gameplay, but they serve just perfectly for atmosphere and a walking simulator. The other ten levels are complete.”

„This game will be in early access for approximately two quarters (six months). Player feedback on the forums, reviews and Discord channel will be integral for review and integration to ensure I am delivering the best possible game that the players want to play.”

„The full game has not been fully determined because based on feedback I will be constantly updating the game by adding levels - and there are thousands of levels in The Backrooms canon. Players already have a narrative driven experience and also an infinite walking simulator.

I plan to have much more than the 12 levels provided in Early Access but I cannot promise how many.”
