Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Sunshower will be in Early Access until all of its planned features are implemented. We're aiming to finish it by the end of spring 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version only includes the main mode of the game with 1-2 players and a majority of its gameplay mechanics, art, and music finished. Right now, there are three main types of rain drops that can be caught, but we are planning to add two more extra types that provide special abilities for added drop collecting. The full version is planned to include other rewards for progression.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version only includes the main mode along with record keeping for high scores. That mode also includes all of the game's intended dialogue, sound effects, and most of its transitioning music tracks.

This version of the game gives you about the first two-thirds of the experience that you would otherwise have when the completed version is released. Latter parts are where we want to add more varied art, effects, music, and game mechanics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be the same price before and after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We highly value the feedback of our community.
